Who We Are
Taking Flight is the statewide young-adult peer group and advisory council for Maryland Coalition of Families. We are also a Maryland Youth MOVE chapter!
We offer informal peer support, leadership development opportunities, and advocacy involvement to young adults! We use our personal experiences with behavioral health challenges and trauma to support each other and advocate for positive changes in youth-serving systems.
We are here to normalize behavioral health challenges and support young adults as they take on the world.
We want you to feel safe, seen, and heard. Join us on Zoom, every Thursday at 5:00 PM, for our peer support gatherings. You are not alone.
